Networking with the project for creating an organic vineyard in the village Anemotia of Lesvos Island in the frame of Land Stewardship
The “project for rehabilitation of degraded soil by planting an organic vineyard to preserve native species” is a replicability and transferability example of the organic vineyard, in the frame of the LIFE TERRACESCAPE project. The project is funded by the Green Fund (Decision No. 216.5/2021), under the Funding Program "Natural environment & innovative actions 2021» Priority Axis 3: "Innovative actions with citizens". The project is implemented in the village of Anemotia in Lesvos Island (N. Aegean) and applies the Land stewardship approach to cultivate abandoned vineyards.
The first event of the project, a 3-day drystone experiential workshop, took place on November 19-21 2021 in Anemotia. The Coordinator of the LIFE TERRACESCAPE project, Th.
