Participation in educational seminar on Sifnos Island

Representatives of the LIFE TERRACESCAPE project participated in the 3-day educational seminar organized by the Environmental Education Center of Korthi on Sifnos Island, 11-13 May. During the seminar entitled "Drystone walls: artworks, earth wrinkles of today, elements of culture and sustainable management", TERRACESCAPE participant stressed the role of terraces as green infrastructure on the islands, the necessity for their functional persistence, and the actions to be carried out by the TERRACESCAPE project on Andros towards achieving the above. The seminar was attended by teachers from schools of the islands of Sifnos, Ios, Folegandros, and Milos.
